Validation of authority and data entries in order process system.

TDC Mobil is very satisfied with our collaboration with SPECIALISTERNE. The employees from SPECIALISTERNE are especially good at solving tasks that has to be repeated many times and tasks that require a general view over complex frames in electronic systems.
In other groups of employees we experienced falling motivation when carrying out routine tasks, it’s exactly opposite with SPECIALISTERNE…..and they do it almost without making errors.
As a consequence of the low error percentage we have observed that as an example the complex process of transferring phone numbers becomes easier because of the almost flawless base created by SPECIALISTERNE in the beginning.

TDC Totalløsninger
Validating and entries of data in customer order system, for customers who want to transfer their phone number from one company to another.

The background for our collaboration with SPECIALISTERNE is based on a commercial interest.
The task they solve is characterized by requiring insight, precision, ability to concentrate and regularity. These young people have the necessary skills. Already we can see that we can learn something from them. Some of the employees from SPECIALISTERNE are highly competent on the PC area and they have taught us a few tricks and I believe there is more to learn from them.

Systematic Software Engineering
At Systematic SPECIALISTERNE did a regression- and end user test on a system for structurized communication. The tests were based on well documented testcases.

Result:
SPECIALISTERNE found several new bugs.

CSC Scandihealth
At CSC Scandihealth a GUI-test was performed and the purpose was to compare the function and layout of the GUI in two systems for patient journalizing.

The test was performed successful according to the test plan created in cooperation with the customer, who received a test report containing incident report and test plan.

Result:
Based on SPECIALISTERNE’s work, the customer is able to decide what the strategy will be for the further standardizing of those two products.

Reference:
For CSC Scandihealth SPECIALISTERNE performed a comparative test of the layout and function of the user interface in two related systems, which will be closer integrated in the future. The purpose was to document on which areas and to what extend the two systems are different.
The test was not a typical user interface test where a test specification had to be followed. It was not a type of work SPECIALISTERNE had any experience with before, but the task was performed to our full satisfaction.

The employees from SPECIALISTERNE impressed with their ability to keep the interest for all details through the entire test, so we have received a thoroughly worked through result.
The documentation from the test has a good quality. It meets our expectations and gives a clear impression of the procedure and result. We look forward to continue the cooperation with SPECIALISTERNE.

Cryptomathic
Crash tests have been performed on several applications. An application for money transfer was one of them. The crash test is often performed in extension of a normal test run. SPECIALISTERNE utilizes their special skills to spot situations and procedures that can lead to a system breakdown. The tester’s job is to crash the application (and they succeed).

Example:
Based on test specifications SPECIALISTERNE has performed a regression and final system test on several applications.

Result:
The crash tests have often uncovered very serious bugs that could be fixed before the software was released.
