Knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorder

According to the The Danish Information and Resource Centre for Autism, between 30.000 and 48.000 people in Denmark have autism spectrum disorder – far the majority of which have probably never been diagnosed.

The Municipal of Høje Taastrup has released a booklet called ’I job med autismespektrumsforstyrrelser – en erfaringsopsamling til inspiration for virksomheder, sagsbehandlere samt personer med autismespektrumsforstyrrelser’ (‘Employment with Autism Spectrum Disorder – a collection of experiences as inspiration for businesses, socialworkers, and people with Autism Spectrum Disorder’ with its basis formed from the experiences of SPECIALISTERNE in Høje Taastrup – read the booklet here.
