SPECIALISTERNE presents an opportunity to create jobs for many people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), who would normally have great difficulty in gaining and keeping a job, because our society is based on the expectation on high levels of social skills, both when you are studying as well as at work.

In our welfare system, more attention and information is needed about the invisible handicaps, such as ASD. Many of our colleagues had been diagnosed with ASD fairly late in their lives – and as a result, never had much opportunity for education and work experience.

That is why SPECIALISTERNE offer a 5-month occupation clarification, where candidates go through training, and their options in the corporate sector are assessed on the basis of SPECIALISTERNE’s experience with the requirements of the business community.

We believe that many people would benefit from our way of structuring work efforts, whether they have been diagnosed with ASD or not.
